Secret Scent Club is a New York–based collective of artists, creators, and smellers devoted to fragrance. We gather around scent as both subject and practice, exploring its ability to shape memory, atmosphere, and experience. What begins as a shared interest often becomes something closer to ritual.

At the center of the club are our smellings—gatherings where members and aspiring members come together to experience and discuss scent. Most take place as seated sessions, where each participant brings a fragrance to share. At other times, we venture out to places of scent interest, treating New York as a kind of living archive.

We believe scent is best understood collectively. Through exchange and comparison, each smelling offers an opportunity to encounter something new and to sharpen the nose alongside others.

Membership is earned through participation. Attend three smellings and contribute a scent at each to join. Members receive a card and, with it, a certain quiet distinction. Smellings are open for registration online.
